| Norwich Puppet Theatre |
Norwich Puppet Theatre has over twenty one years of experience in presenting high quality theatre for a family audience. As well as performing at the home base in Norwich the company's own productions tour extensively into schools in the Eastern Region. All productions are supported by a teachers' information pack with links to the National Curriculum and the Literacy Strategy.
As one of only two dedicated puppet theatres in England the venue provides a unique regional resource, with a range of workshops and performances to suit all ages. We also run a four term City & Guilds course in puppet making in partnership with Norfolk Adult Education and Wensum Lodge. Beyond the published programme we are able to arrange tours, talks, performances and workshops.
The theatre, in a converted Medieval church, has a main auditorium with 190 seats and a studio space of 50. |
