This award winning museum houses a unique and varied collection of large industrial stationary steam engines which have been rescued and restored from a wide variety of locations in Britain. Eight of the largest can be seen running on steam days, including the 147hp cross compound engine which was used to open Tower Bridge. The museum is open on the first Sunday in the month from May to November - 11am-5.30pm. Other times can be arranged by appointment with the owner, Dr. R Francis.
