| Hemsby Beach |
A sandy 3km straight stretch of natural coastline. There is a valley, dunes and rock pools at the beach.
There are no lifeguards at the beach but there are emergency facilities and a volunteer inshore lifeboat rescue service.
The beach is cleaned at least once a day. There are litter and dog bins but dogs are banned from part of the beach.
Swimming, surfing (surf board hire is available), sea canoeing and fishing. There is no zoning for water sports.
There is a walk through the valley and dunes by the beach. Various wildlife can be seen. The beach is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and also the area is designated as a SSSI. |
