The residents of the village work very hard throughout year keeping the village in top condition for the village in bloom competition. During the summer months the village is a blaze of colour with hanging baskets on just about every post.
Filby is a well catered for village, having plenty of facilities and local attractions. Post office, pubs, restaurant, shop and playing field.
There are several local walks, maps of which are available from the post office.
