    Norwich Theatre Royal
Norwich Theatre Royal is a 1300 seat Art Deco theatre presenting a high quality mix of comedy, drama, music, dance, opera, musicals and family shows all year round.

Ticket prices for all performances start from as little as £4 or £5 as part of the Theatre Royal's commitment to encouraging access to as wide a range of the local population as possible. Facilities for disabled customers are also available, including a Sennheiser infrared amplification system and an induction loop for the hard of hearing; Talking Notes for all main shows for the Blind or Partially Sighted; discounted tickets for Wheelchair users and their companions; Sign Language Interpreted performances for the Deaf and musical workshops for Deaf children.

Over 500 local young people (aged between 7 and 16) and adults also take part in our Theatre Arts Courses each year, taking advantage of training in all the basic theatre skills: voice work, improvisation, theatre games, acting techniques, role-play, stage combat, make-up and characterisation. The courses are strongly performance-based and these performances take place in The Garage, Chapefield North throughout the year.

The Theatre Royal is a resource for the local community and assistance is given to many schoolchildren and students through each year with project and research work, as well as offering many work placements at the theatre through our education department. Detailed information about the theatre's business performance is also published annually.
